February 15, 2013 Our seven year old son has had ear, nose and throat issues since birth. He has been through surgeries to have his tonsils and adenoids removed, he has seen allergists, and he has had two sets of tubes in his ears. Nothing ever seemed to help him. He would snore so loudly at night that it was difficult even for him to get a good night's rest. He would be dazed at school because most of the time he couldn't hear properly and after a while he would just tune out listening all together. We struggled to find the right solution for him. When we brought this up to Dr. Reichow he suggested that our son come in for an adjustment. Both my husband and I have had great results in seeing Dr. Reichow on a regular basis – so much so that we have remained quite healthy since we began with him. He has even given our infant daughter an adjustment which seemed to help with a feeding and tummy problem she was having. With this in mind we chose to bring our son to see him too.  In his first adjustment Dr. Reichow stated that two of the vertebrae in our son's neck were quite far out of place. These two vertebrae are linked to the ears and nose. That was the only "fix" he did that day. A few hours later our son spent a good twenty minutes blowing and draining gunk from his nose. That night, for the first time in his life, our son was able to breathe through his nose with his mouth closed. He was so excited he nearly cried and didn't talk for the rest of the night because he had his mouth closed to breathe! He handled the adjustment very well and was excited when we went back a couple weeks later to check to make sure he stayed "in place." He needed a second adjustment and this time Dr. Reichow also adjusted vertebrae that would be connected to his lungs. Since this second adjustment our son performed so well at school that we received a glowing report from his teacher, who had been concerned with his listening ability. He had an entire week after the last adjustment of performing tasks when asked and in a timely manner. We believe that Dr. Reichow has played a major part in his feeling better and we are very grateful Jon & Sommar Nelson   During a 2 day stay in the Hospital for an unrelated issue, I did not have my anti-inflammatory medicine for a bone on bone issue in my left knee.  Before I left the hospital I developed a severe pain going over my left pelvis bone and down my left leg.  For 17 days I could not walk and got an old pair of crutches out of the attic, just to get around a little bit.  Without them I could only walk about 20 paces without having to sit down and recover.  During that time, I was trying to get the medicine to recover back to a pain free walk, but it became apparent that the pills were not going to do it.   I got an appointment with Dr. Jamey Reichow at Moon Valley Chiropractic on the 18th day.  He took an x-ray of my hips and found that my left pelvis was at least 3/4 of an inch higher than my right pelvis, making my backbone curve and wrecking havoc with the nerves to my left leg as a result.  He said it was a coming thing and he had the treatment for me.  I went for treatments 3 times that week and held out hope as the pain continued.  On the week end, I started to notice a lessening of the pain and found I could walk farther without major issues.  Then by my Monday appointment, one week after starting the treatments, I was walking unaided and almost pain free. This is another real experience for me that Chiropractic treatments can get results beyond what traditional medicine cannot begin to treat. There is nothing better than to stop pain and function normally.  It does work. Thank you for your help! Jay Heckman Phoenix, AZ Being familiar with "Chiropractic & Dr. Bria" when Dr. Reichow's smiling grin appeared for my first visit, I thought, "Will I be comfortable and confident with this new guy"? lt's important to the success of all Doctor/patient relationships. My question was quickly answered; like during the first visit. I quickly became aware he was very specific with "to the point" answers which were relevant to my questions. More importantly, he responded in non-medical specific (often confusing) language that I could understand. He offers explanations of the "how comes" and "why does this hurt". The result is "l’m happy" because I know "He Cares". Oh yea, I feel much better as well. In fact, I now only visit once a month in place of two or more times a week just to be sure I follow my exercise orders and occasional adjustments. Who could argue or not be happy and satisfied with success???   Thanks Jamey. Dan R I walked into Dr. Reichow chiropractic office with great hesitation. I had been medically diagnosed with scoliosis and was sent home with some exercises to do. Even though I continued I those I continued to have much discomfort. When in great discomfort I would sit with e heating pad on my back. My husband was going to Dr. Reichow at that time and recommended I try going there. Dr. Reichow took an x-ray of my back and explained the situation and his suggestions for treatment. He would see me 3x a week at first. He highly recommended having Josh give me a massage to my back for 15 minutes each time. Dr. Reichow would then do some manipulations plus use the table in the treatment. As I progressed I had to go in less often. I am now on maintenance and go once a week. When you get to the office they have a chart you mark with your areas and degrees of discomfort. Those are the areas that he and Josh concentrate on. The first time I was in he suggested that I use ice instead of a heating pad as the ice reduces swelling. That one suggestion has been a huge help to me. Over 50 years ago I was trained as an R.N. I have not practiced for many, many years but I do remember our image of a chiropractor then is certainly not what l have experienced now. He's always taken his time explaining what's happening. SUCCESS!! It has been about a month since I started treatments on the Decompression Table and I am a huge fan. I hurt my back in November, resulting in major sciatic nerve pain. Dr. Reichow knows me well and managed my recovery to about 80% recovery within the first month.  However, we couldn’t seem to get past the nerve pain issue whenever I stood too long, or walked any distance. He suggested the Decompression Table and the rest is history.  I am on my 10th treatment as I write this, and it has been 4 days since I had any pain at all. This is huge because I have had chronic back pain since I was quite young.  I have been very impressed and recommend you try it, without hesitation, if Dr. Reichow thinks it is right for you. LOVE this clinic.  Dr Reichow truly cares about his patients.  He changes lives, one person at a time. I have been able to depend on Moon Valley Chiropractic to help me maintain my extremely active life style since 2007, everything from bulging disks or a pinched Sciatic nerve, to a rotated Sacrum has been rectified with their assistance. Last week I decided to throw Dr. Reichow a curve ball, having already been to my family Physician I was fully aware that the strained tendon was not a mechanical issue, unfortunately the barrage 550 mg Naproxen simply masked the pain for a couple of weeks. Once again Dr. Jamey began looking for a means by which to heal the injury and introduced me to Low Level Laser Therapy, a process that increases the cellular metabolism expediting repair at a cellular level. After my first treatment I was as pain free as I had been in recent weeks and found it necessary to remind myself that I was still nursing an injury and needed to stay in first gear for a while.
